Warranty Certificate
This warranty applies to a New Vehicle, provided that the vehicle is not older than 12 months and upon inspection and approval by a Rustblock® center. The warranty covers your vehicle Forever, provided that Rustblock® is reapplied each year.
1. Terms
Provided that the Rustblock® product has been reapplied annually to the vehicle by a Rustblock® Center within 13 months of the last application, Rustblock® warrants that it will repair or replace at its cost all original body panels which have rusted through from the inside out. The panels treated with the Rustblock® product and covered by this warranty are the underside of the vehicle, the front and rear fender panels, the doors, the rocker panels, the hood, the trunk lid and back panel. All invoices will be required as proof, in case of a claim. Claims must be made in writing to a Rustblock® center within 12 months of the last application of the Rustblock® product on your vehicle. The customer must obtain a written authorization from the Rustblock® center before proceeding with any repairs.
2. Damaged Vehicle
If your vehicle is involved in an accident, you must contact your Rustblock® center within 15 days for reapplication to the damaged area of your vehicle. This reapplication will be done at no expense to the owner. In the event that the Rustblock® center, in its discretion considers the damage extensive or the repairs inferior, it may cancel this warranty in part or in full. Failure to reapply the Rustblock® product in these circumstances voids this warranty.
3. Areas Not Covered
This warranty does not apply to rust penetrating the vehicle panels from the outside, meaning the side opposite the one where the treatment was applied and caused by lack of maintenance, paint fraying, scratches, and does not include moldings or areas damaged following a collision or vandalism. Also, mechanical or mechanically related components, the gas tank, the muffler, the roof, door posts and the paint not being accessible to the treatment, are not included in the warranty. Corrosion related to design flaws is the responsibility of the manufacturer and is not covered in this warranty.
4. Limitations
This warranty is offered in lieu of any and all express or implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. There are no warranties which extend beyond the description on the face hereof. Rustblock® shall have no liability whatsoever for damages other than those set out herein Rustblock® shall in no event be responsible for any special, consequential or incidental damages.
5. Transferring the Warranty
Should you sell your vehicle, the current warranty is transferable free of charge to the new owner. The new owner must present this certificate to a Rustblock® Center for the warranty to be transferred. The warranty will then remain in force and the same conditions and exclusions will apply to the new owner.
